There is no message. It just says ERROR. If I push the start button nothing happens. So the only way I have found to reset is to unplug and plug in again. Then it starts up. It doesn't shut down again once that happens, but there is no code associated with it. I sent a message to F&P but got no response.

Funny. Right after I sent my latest reply I got a message pop up from F& P. This is what they said:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Customer Care.
It would be hard to know the cause of the issue without investigation.
Is an error code displayed? If so, what is the error code?
The troubleshooting is limited to unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. If the issue persists, which it sounds like it is, then the device should be replaced.

Best regards,

So apparently, I'm stuck with unplugging unless I can get a replacement approved!!

After two days of searching for a solution, I read saw one persons post that rather then removing the bottom, they just used the blow dryer on low for a few minutes. I did this and then let it sit for about an hour and it came back on. Sorry I didn’t get the name to give you specific credit. I’m in a hotel on a business trip and you saved me. Bless you!!!
