I usually don't have a problem falling asleep just staying asleep. I doze off and wake up again 10-15 minutes later then I have a hard time going back to sleep.
So 3 nights ago I changed all my setting to auto. It has not made a difference. I can breathe in through my nose but feel like I have to breathe out through my mouth. Also I keep feeling my heart beat in my nose that feels weird with the mask on. Since it is a nasal pillow there is no pressure on my nose.
So tonight I am going to try to change it to APAP and see if that helps.
Wish me luck!
Help! I am about to give up
Re: Help! I am about to give up
I know that you tried several masks before settling on this one. However, while this one is called a "mask," it looks like nasal pillows to me. I'm not familiar with this particular interface, but I suspect it's a hybrid of some sort.
Now that you know how to adjust the pressure, try one of the other masks again. It sounds like the pressure going directly to your nostrils is problematic.
Also, no matter which mask you're using, clear your sinuses immediately before starting therapy. That may help.

If you’re having trouble exhaling through the mask turn EPR on to 3.
