Anyone have a spare airsense 10 elbow in Monterey/Carmel?

Post by glowradar » Wed Jul 04, 2018 12:26 pm

I grabbed a new hose on my way to a vacation getaway and stupidly forgot about the elbow connector that connects the hose to the mask. It has a little quick release button.
I tried ordering a new mask through cpap.com on Monday priority overnight, but it didn’t show up yesterday and it looks like they didn’t process the order yet :(
Now, because of July 4th (today) it seems unlikely I’ll see a mask before Friday.
I’m not getting sleep and it’s ruining my vacation. If someone in the Monterey/Carmel area has an extra connector I’ll happily pay for it. I’m not picky about the price, just tell me what you need.
I have a car, can PayPal you in advance, and can come pick it up from your mailbox or whatever place is convenient for you so you don’t even need to coordinate with me. If you do have a spare please reply or PM, I’ll check later today.

I know it doesn't help today, but in the future when travelling, anybody that is reading, always bring 2 hose and mask setups, because things can get lost or broken.

to clarify, you need the elbow for your mask that connects to the hose, not your machine. correct?

It's a very long shot that you would find someone in this forum who can help right away.

I would join this group to post of your plight - https://www.facebook.com/groups/201291629885064/

You'll need a little luck to get an admin to approve you right away.

Ask for a connector or any FFM in your size. It's going to be better to have an unfamiliar FFM for three nights than none.

Local DMEs will be open tomorrow morning.

Good luck!

Yup, wish I had considered this. Know better now.

Yes, just the connector.

Yes, it’s a long shot, but worth a try.
