Thanks for the tip on blocking people. This forum DOES have a ton of unnecessary bullying. It’s ridiculous the way people are spoken to when they are coming for help and guidance.

I think you'll find that, overwhelmingly, people that come here actually looking for help and guidance, are treated kindly, and get the help and guidance that they're looking for.

People that come here, acting like they know everything, or come here to criticize others and act like they think they should be in charge.... aren't treated so kindly.

If you, or others, want kindness at the expense of accurate helpful advice, then apneaboard is waiting for you. I've seen a lot of dumb, and outright wrong 'advice' over there, because the feelings of the posters are more important than making sure newbies get GOOD advice.

I think I am the one who suggest blocking. Another and more important tip; stay off the internet and avoid people if you are thin skinned.

If the problem keeps bothering you, you may have to stay in your bedroom, and order food in, remember no news or T.V., lifes reality might upset you. Jim

If "Tim" was truly intelligent he would get over it or broaden his thinking. If that was impossible, he would cancel his Internet, and use his computer to play Microsoft Games or better still push the power button to Off! Jim

I agree. Especially when they tend to spew incorrect information.

There is a lot of mean, spiteful, petty, degrading bullying here. Its just not necessary. Yes there is also good advice. I am not thin skinned, but it doesn't mean I appreciate people being jerks for no reason...and yes, its happened MANY times completely unprovoked and out of line. It is a shame because this could be a fantastic place for people to learn and get help with their sleep therapy if it weren't for all the b.s.
