I'm aware that EEG is the only real reliable method to determine sleep/wake state, however I've noticed that my breathing patterns seem to be much more volatile when I am awake.
This volatility is shown on my Flow Rate and Exp. Time graphs, as well as other SleepyHead breathing graphs.
For example, last night I didn't have a very good sleep an woke up several times. I believe this is represented by the increased Flow Rate and Exp. Time at 1:00, 1:35, 4:15, 4:30, 7:35, and 8:35 (Included SleepyHead graph

Re: Breathing patterns and awake state
Awake breathing is very irregular. sleep breathing should be regular. You're completely normal in this regard.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 9:35 amI would appreciate opinions and if this is unique to me or are these breathing patterns noticeable by others.
