Will Call It a Win

Post by Jkb1234 » Tue Jun 19, 2018 5:56 am

Well, I upped my max pressure to 10.5. I had been gradually increasing from my original prescription of 7.0 to my new presccription of 10.0 and hadn't been seeing very good numbers (2.5 to 3.5 average). Last night was from 9.5 to 10.5.

When I checked it when I got for a bathroom break at the end of the night (last hour) it was .8. The last hour though I was mostly awake and hitting the snooze so there are a cluster of events there which brought the average way up, but the rest of the night was very successful.

Whoops..don't know how I accidentally bumped Flow Rate up to the top.

Anyway, at that level, I did seem to suffer from some leaks at times and felt dry (need to check the water chamber) but I think I can work with that. I was more restless than usual because of something on my mind and some caffeine in the evening.

Not a complete victory in the war, but you won a major battle. You should still try to bring the number down further.

You don't have a "max pressure"...You have a fixed pressure with that machine. Only Auto machines have a min and max pressure. You raised your fixed pressure to 10.5

You’re correct, it was fixed in CPAP mode. I meant it as max pressure compared to ramp pressure but didn’t describe completely.
