The A-A valve BYPASSES the hose; and exhaled air (containing CO2) exits via the air vents ON THE MASK.
The hose only contains room air, plus maybe water vapor from the humidifier.
We all get a FAIL, she uses a ComfortGel Nasal Mask, I'm guessing they have a mouth to breath thru. Jim
