Hello,
My CPAP mask started making a whistling noise 2 nights ago, just like everyone else I am trying to find the issue. I have narrowed it down to a Quick Release Elbow with Diffuser, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get one? Or do I need to order the entire frame\setup for an AirFit F20 mask? I am one that never cleans my frame, and have a back-up always. So for right now, I am using my back-up and I just cleaned my frame. Anyways, I was wondering if someone happened to know when I can get a Quick Release Elbow with Diffuser? If you are curious this is the piece that connects the plastic frame to the hose and allows it to swivel around.
I have also looked at:
https://www.secondwindcpap.com/Masks.html
1800-cpap
cpap.com
amazon.com
All places say I need to purchase an entire frame, but I am trying to get away from that.
Thanks,

Re: Where to get a Quick Release Elbow with Diffuser
ResMed has a product number for just the elbow but the only place I have seen the elbow being offered for sale was a website in Australia.
I haven't found it on a US based website.
I don't have that product number handy but I will see if I can find it and then you could see if your DME could just order that part for you.
Let me go try to find the post that showed the 2 different elbows and the product numbers. It was here just a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Where to get a Quick Release Elbow with Diffuser
I see several elbows for the F20 mask on eBay for 15 or 16 dollars.

As the inestimable Okie Bipap suggests, eBay... you can get most any mask part on ebay.
You should, unless you never sneeze, drool, cough, or breath in it... it'll get gunky over time. I used to wash the goop out of mine most every week... I just used a squirt of dawn and some hot water.
