Anxiety/multiple awakenings and panic attacks have been solved by switching from Pristiq to Cymbalta. I have to take the Cymbalta at night as it makes me too drowsy, but now instead of having infrequent CA events, I have many more - not horrible, but definitely causes more CAs. But I have to stay on Cymbalta - no more constant panic and trips to the ER.
So - that leaves me with the issue of Settings on the BiPap. When I ask the sleep doctors about the "other" settings like Trigger, etc., they almost cross their eyes and look at me like I'm speaking an alien language - then they say "what other settings besides IPAP/EPAP/PS"....nice. I still wonder about these settings and what, if any, effect they have on my sleep.
My AHIs right now average in the high 3's, and my sleep is more consistent without multiple awakenings in a panic attack, but there is something going on that is strange. I have really awful pain at night that gets worse as the night goes on and goes down dramatically about 10 minutes after I wake up. I have filmed myself for a few nights, and I don't see any mouth breathing at all, so I don't think strong mouth breathing is causing the muscle pain - it's all over body pain like every muscle has been tensed up all night - even a low grade headache all night.
I have tried adjusting the upper and lower pressures and the pressure support, and the current settings seem to be the best right now, but maybe more adjustments are needed on those. If I go above PS of 2, my AHIs increase to 8 and above. The machine's other settings are on factory settings right now. I looked at the 30 day results and they are as follows:
Pressure: 14.9
Exp. Pressure: 12.8
Leak: 8L/min
Vt: 580 ml
RR: 11
MV: 6.4 L/min
TI: 1.5s
I:E: 1:2.6
Cycle: 960
AHI: 3.4
Posted below are 3 nights using a ResMed Nasal Mask. Just wondering if there are any obvious things that I need to change, and if there are any suggestions as to what might be causing the very bad muscle pain at night. At bedtime, I'm at my usual Level 3 in pain, and during the night and upon awakening, I feel like it's about a 7 - everything hurts like I've been in battle at night and I can barely get out of bed because of the pain. But looking at the recording, there is no evidence that I am doing anything more than turning over from time to time.

Thanks for any suggesting/input!
