Anyone know of any sleep labs that do Pes (esophageal pressure) testing near Pennsylvania?

Pennsylvania is a large place; larger than many countries! Can you be more specific about your location?

If you enter 'manometer' in the search box here, you should find a recipe for making one easily. Or maybe on Youtube.

Just google UARS and Philadelphia. You will see what I saw. I don't want to promote the places that came up, as I know nothing about them (good or bad).

A manometer is NOT the same thing as the Pes device used to measure eophageal pressure during sleep.

Manometer is used to verify the cpap machine's pressure out put.

Pes device is used during a sleep study to help diagnose UARS.

Sorry! I actually Googled manometer after posting, but obviously misunderstood what they said too... should stay far from tech stuff.

I did that but nothing helpful came up. Most of stuff was for dental appliances that they are trying to sell.

I can't answer your question but I am curious as to why you want to be tested. My understanding is that the treatment is CPAP. I see you have a machine listed. Have you posted any sleepyhead data?

Yes I have been through all that. I am on cpap, I've even had surgery. All my sleep studys i barely failed for osa but have horrible tiredness for years. At the beginning could not get out of bed for months, cpap and surgery changed my life but still trying to figure out what is wrong with me. Although i have my life back and am functioning okay Still, still tired alot, still have idiopathic hypersomnia. Still barely fail for osa after cpap and sugery which is strange that my ahi hasnt changed, sleep stages are always strange during sleep study. Since I've never really figured out what was wrong I am exploring every option and there is not much left. Doctors have been useless since day one, I've practically had to fixed myself.

Thanks for the background.
With CPAP, is your AHI less than 5? I like to zoom in showing a few minutes and then work my way from left to right to see how often I see arousals.

Depends on my pressure, right now it's 14 and my ahi is between 1 to 2 usually. Sleepy head data show some breath abnormallitys but I don't think it's that great with out eog or eeg data.
