Why does it say major mask leakage for 95% leak rate at 16?

Please see attached screenshot. Why does it say on the SleepyHead's welcome screen that I had significant periods of major mask leakage when the 95% leak rate is only 16?

Are you using a Respironics machine? If so....disregard the warning. There's no large leak flag showing in the Events graph.

The statistic reporting the % of time in large leak is based on a ResMed calculation number and that number won't work for your Respironics machine.
Open SH and go to Preferences and then the CPAP tab. SH Defaults to a red line leak threshold of 24 L/min which is a ResMed leak number...won't work with your machine.
Turn that statistic off or change the red line number to something more suitable for a Respironics machine at your pressure and your mask and it can vary depending on if you are using variable pressures and the mask itself.

Based on this shown image...probably something around 70 L/min would be a suitable conservative number.

Because sleepyhead is stupid that way. The programmer thought he was a diagnostician, but based his little comments on the wrong data.

My RT at VA who only uses resperonics says they want under 50 lpm for leak rate to be Happy.

That's a good reason why one shouldn't listen to an RT.

The machine flags any leak rate it doesn't like, as long as it's not flaging large leaks, then the machine is happy.
