Last free CPAP machine available

Post by JimW159 » Tue Jan 09, 2018 9:38 am

I have thus far sold or given away several xPAPs in the past year or so - I now have one remaining. It is free if local to the Tampa FL area or for shipping cost only elsewhere if it can be shipped via USPS.
The machine is a ResMed Elite II with H4i humidifier, tank and hose. It is very easy to set up - the mask selections use specific ResMed mask names and most are a bit out of date but they are easily set to replicate virtually any current type of mask (in any case, that is one of the least important settings)
This product page from Second Wind will give you a bit more information about the S8 series. http://www.secondwindcpap.com/ResMed_S8_Elite_II.html
The one I have is a straight CPAP with the normal 4-20 range of pressures that can be set easily to fit your needs. There are 5813 hours on the machine and has many more left in it. It uses a SmartCard rather than SD for data recording. This requires a reader - I have one that will be included - it connects with USB and may require drivers. If so, you'll have to get them. There is no card but they are often available on eBay - look for resmed s8 data card. Let me know if interested.

Definitely interested. Right now I'm renting a machine, but insurance isn't covering anything (havn't met my deductable).
