Zen Sleep - tongue device
Zen Sleep - tongue device
Has anyone tried Zen Sleep (the thing now popping up in my Facebook feed)? I can't seem to keep my mask on for more than a few hours so I'm wondering if this could be an alternative.

Re: Zen Sleep - tongue device
There's a lot of devices out there, and to varyings degrees they MIGHT be of SOME help to SOME people. If the tongue were the only factor in a person's sleep apnea, it makes sense that keeping the tongue out of the airway could be beneficial. However our airway consists of more than just the tongue. Thinking it might be interesting to test sleeping in a position where gravity pulls the tongue away from the throat and seeing if machine data looks better. At any rate, if your apnea is very mild, it probably wouldn't hurt to try, except for how would you measure effectiveness? Is there a particular problem you are having with keeping your mask on that we could offer tips for overcoming?
