CPAP Pillows and Sleep Meds
CPAP Pillows and Sleep Meds
Can anyone recommend a good CPAP pillow for sleeping on your side with a Full Face Mask? Also, has anyone tried sleep medications initially to help them fall asleep with a Full Face Mask? Thank you.

There was a person who sold really nice pillows at great deals on the forums a while ago. Not sure if they are still around

Re: CPAP Pillows and Sleep Meds
I use a buckwheat hull pillow similar to the one mentioned above, I think I might get this one to try, it looks nicer with the triple quilted cover. I also use Trazodone for sleep.
I like using the buckwheat pillow as it will conform to a good shape for side sleeping and stay there until i change the shape, I do this several times in my sleep at night because I tend to roll from side to stomach sleeping. I have become very comfortable with this pillow and now can not get comfortable with any other.

I have one of Brett's pillows.
It is over two years old, and is probably the last pillow I will ever buy.

Brett from Pur-Sleep is known as SleepyGuy on the forum.
His pillow is also available from Amazon.

I use this pillow also...and in fact have used some version of it since I started cpap therapy in 2009. He's made some various improvements over the years. I have a bad neck and even if I didn't use cpap I would likely use this pillow. It's perfect for adjusting to the exact height that my neck and head needs and the needed support for my neck. Most regular pillows are too tall for my small body and they put my head/neck in a crimped position which ends up causing neck headaches.

I use a FFM and make my own pillows out of any kind of memory foam you can find.FreddyZ wrote:Can anyone recommend a good CPAP pillow for sleeping on your side with a Full Face Mask?
Very effective and comfortable.
The cut out in the middle tucks into your shoulder and keeps the pillow from moving,
The outside cuts out are clearance for your mask.
