Dropped my CPAP in the case, have you ever dropped yours?

Post by Mattlovescats » Thu Dec 07, 2017 7:07 am

Hi folks,

I can't believe my luck today, I'm travelling by coach and on the way to the coach I accidentally dropped my Resmed Airsense 10 on the concrete whilst walking to the coach. It bounced on the bottom then landed on the side. As I'm travelling I can't test it yet, I'm really worried that I've broken it. I'm absolutely screwed if I have. Screwed. Have you ever dropped your machine in its case? Was it OK?

If its the same case that came with mine and it hit on the bottom it should be fine. there is a pocket at the bottom that holds your mask and wires and they should have softened the blow. also the bags them selves are pretty good protection in my opinion.

Inspect it. If it doesn't look broken then it will likely work fine.

Bad luck is relative.
My grandson's car was stolen the Monday after Thanksgiving.
The cockroach is still driving it around, committing other crimes.
LPD: completely incompetent, IMO.
At least my grandson is OK--and a whole lot smarter.

What would you do if you were home and turned your machine on at bedtime and it was fried?

I'd open my Closet get one of my two back-up machines and go to sleep. Jim

Then get off your butt, catch the next coach and loan one of those machines to Matt.

Never been on a stage coach. Happy to stay home. Jim

Having a spare for me and another one for Murphy, priceless.

Last time I was in the hospital, one of the nurses dropped my spare S9 on the hard floor... it bounced.

I was worried, but it worked fine. They're tougher than they look.

At the Sacramento airport my S9 took a sharp right coming out of the security checkpoint on the conveyor belt and hit the ground. The case was open before it fell and based on the noise it made when it hit the ground I was sure I was screwed. That was over two years ago and it's still running great.
