DreamStation shut down and won't start back up

Post by InnerGlow » Sun Oct 29, 2017 3:02 am

Based on all I've read on here and the fact that I was still feeling like I couldn't breathe with a min pressure of 5 cm, I went ahead and successfully changed it to 6 cm today. I could definitely feel the difference and was able to breathe much better, but I had more trouble getting to sleep. So I decided minutes ago (just before 5 am) to try it back at 5.5. Only when I tried to set it in provider mode, it just showed the user display. I went to the bathroom while I waited for it to go back to "neutral" but when I returned, it was completely off: the therapy button was no longer lit and the display would not come up. I tried unplugging and replugging it, but still nothing. Did I do something wrong? How do I get the machine to go back on?

To go into the clinician mode, you hold down both the ramp button and toggle button at the same time and hold until menu comes up. Did you do this?

Did you unplug from the outlet or from the machine ....There is also a plug on the end of the cord going into the power brick that may have come loose..... is the outlet working ?
If it is completely dead it is probably the power brick.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

It turns out it was the outlet. I just worried it had something to do with what I did, like it locked me out or something silly like that. Thanks for the common sense!
