Amen. This kind of stuff makes newcomers afraid to post and can even drive oldtimers away. Sometimes forums need moderation. Forums really do die.
I have two sleep disorders: UARS and Non-24. Until recently I got considerable relief from UARS with humidified CPAP (I tried APAP but found no advantage), a Swift FX nasal pillow mask, and Micropore tape over my mouth. Nothing has helped my Non-24.

Amen to that. I cannot figure out why he bothers on this, or any, forum. He has no regard for any person whatsoever and all these insults and "do as I say, not as I do" criticisms of everyone else? Sometimes his verbal assaults/accusations of what he claims others do makes me laugh because he is describing himself PERFECTLY. He's either an attention junkie getting his fix at our expense or there is something seriously wrong with his brain. Either way, it's sad, but it is having a huge, negative impact on this forum.

Well, excuse my saying this, but I think he suffers from a syndrome that causes him to act this way.

its the first law of bullies

when a libturd bullies you then you have to stand up to them or they will never quit

when they stop making personal attacks i wont be replying to them to show they are FOS
Has there ever been even one person that you have shown to be FOS except for yourself?

Several weeks ago someone said precisely why the Goodmans allow this behavior to continue. I wish I had saved it because this comes up so often, but I didn't, and can't find it now. Hopefully, someone knows what post I'm referring to and will repost it.

When you no longer post incorrect and erroneous post I will not post comments about them. Show me a link to anything I have ever posted egregious. It never happened never will. What others do in no responsibility of mine, so including what others may or may not have done is illogical and erroneous within the context of this discussion. But Yu could also point out the logical assumption here. That's also incorrect.

Quick note for you there x-tard: as a public service to the forum and to keep you as honest as an x-tard can be, you were totally incorrect about the supposed "rarity" of laptop built-in SD card readers and conveniently abandoned that thread. Sod off! Libtards unite! whatever the hell that even means lol

More x-tard obfuscation I see. That wasn't about usage of SD card readers, it was about your unqualified statement that built-in SD card readers were a rarity in laptop computers. Based on the responses the opposite is undeniably true.

Don't try your PhD mumbo jumbo semantic tricks on me buddy, I see right through your x-tard trickery.

I'm typing on a inexpensive laptop I purchased on Amazon 10 days ago. It has the most lovely SD card reader I've ever seen! Click on Amazon and check it out for yourself. If you don't know how to do that, I'm sure many on here will give you 3rd grade instructions so you can follow along.

You are truly a lunatic.

OMG! Go to Amazon. Type in laptop computers with SD card readers. Many will pop up. From inexpensive to expensive. As I said... mine is inexpensive and has a SD card reader!

No...I am the queen of cheap. One of the laptops is a $300 Acer.
The most expensive laptop I own cost just barely over $500 and I got it and paid the little bit extra because it also functions as tablet with a touch screen and it has a nice little working SD card slot on it. I have probably owned at least a dozen laptops over the last 15 years and every one of them had a SD card slot.
xxyzx wrote:these days no readers except via usb
Nope. You are wrong there. Just because your equipment doesn't have SD card slots doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't.
Now tablets...yeah...no slots but a PC laptop will most often have a slot for the SD card. Might not always be easy to spot but most will have one.

Now I will agree with you about the DVD/CD slot. My last laptop doesn't have a DVD slot but I have yet to need one and if I do I will just dig out the 4 year old laptop that has one which happens to be the cheap Acer with the SD card slot too.

Here's a good decent laptop with a DVD slot/and burner and SD slot
https://www.amazon.com/HP-15-6-Inch-Tou ... +card+slot
Heck of a good deal on price...$328 with free shipping for Prime members
Has the touch screen too. Damn...not all that different from the one I paid $524 for in terms of gut specs either.

Cheap Acer with SD card slot $165
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-One- ... +card+slot
Little smaller in capacity and not as fast as mine but for less than $200....fairly nice little laptop.

And if you don't like Windows 10....you can always put Windows 7 on it. That should be easy for someone with your superior intellect to do.
Hell...even I can do that.

As stated before, I am currently in the possession of 3 HP, A Dell, A Toshiba, and an Acer laptop. ALso two mini laptops - Acer and Asus. All 8 laptops have an SD card slot.

In the past 10 years or so, I Haven't met anybody who doesn't have an SD card slot in their laptop. It is very standard. Yes, the CD drives are missing in many newer models. BUt they still have the SD slots. SD cards are super common with phones, cameras, etc. And they really don't take up much space or weight. No reason to stop including them.
