From the website, it's $20 for the larger size; there's a smaller one available for $10.

I am definitely going to try it to see if it will help me more easily reduce the Temazepam I am taking for sleep. Thanks for posting this link.

Hi, 49er. Nice to see you. Hope all's well.

Lavender can be good stuff. I brought back a bottle of lavender water from the UK some years ago, and sometimes put a little on a cotton puff which goes by the intake of my 'pap.
Hey, Kira! It's been ages; good to see you.

I sometimes use a drop of lavender oil on a cotton ball, too. Very soothing. The lotion sounds pretty impressive to me, but what do I know?

Ah, well, I think I'll stick with my lavender water. I'm too busy buying coat enhancer to grow my Harper Dachs' coat back after he lost it to a fever. My Shadow and Sunny, the Dachshund Duo, have left me -- Mr. Shadow was 17.5. So I now have my mask-snatching Beagle and a black and tan longhaired Dachshund is an AKC Champion, working on a Grand Championship. Boy also has his Barn Hunt Championship and is working on a Champion Excellent. So I'm too busy to have time to be tired any more!

It's nice to have the energy to stay busy, isn't it? I love my machine like you love your beastie.

Re: your four-legged beasties: Sorry about your losses. I know how that is, especially with older pets. But as to the show-dog credits, very impressive! Best of luck with that!

Agreed! Great to see you posting, BB! I'll look at the lotion information later today! Lavender is one of my favorites but the oil I have (using at the air intake) is super strong and overpowering so I don't use it much.

I didn't click on it, but the first thing I thought was- jee, I hope it's a picture of a handsome scantily clad guy rubbing it on me. Sweet dreams everyone. Why do you have to ruin every little thing with fighting with each other.

As an FYI, I was going to place an order for the smaller amount but when a $6.00 shipping charge was added, I decided against purchasing the item. But it looks like it is the same price even if the larger amount is ordered.

$6.00 Ground
Order received within 5 - 12 business days

$8.00 Air
Order received within 4 - 7 business days

$23.68* Priority
Order received within 1 to 4 business days

Anyway, I may reconsider but hopefully, this is helpful to folks who are considering purchasing the item right now.

Thanks again to BB for posting the link.

My opinion FWIW is that it would be one thing for someone to make their very first and only post to the forum with a shout out about this product and a totally different thing for a well established forum member to offer their thoughts.

In the past when I have asked Carolyn about even the very first and only post for a similar product she has elected to let it stand because it potentially has sleep related value. She is very lenient about potential spam when it is related to sleep or sleep apnea.

For this one...I never even remotely considered it spam. It does read like an ad but who cares.
There is potential value with the product for some people and it's up to the person if they want to try the product. Not our job to police what they read or want to try.

I am pretty sure that even if this had been the first and only post by someone that Carolyn would likely let it stand because it has potential value for someone.
Since it was posted by a long time well established forum member ....and given the forum policy on censorship...no way would they want to remove it. They won't even remove worse crap...like the bickering going on in this thread.
Fighting over what is or isn't spam...pretty sad when fighting is all we seem to be doing lately.

Pugsy, thank you so much for writing exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately, I lacked the ability to articulate the points as well as you have.

If god forbid this situation comes up again and we all know it will, I will simply post a link to what you have written.

Agreed. I don't understand why so many people seem so hostile these days. I know there are a few posters that elicit this response (maybe rightfully so) but it also seems like some posters are just itching for a fight, regardless of who/what is posted.

Sadly, it seems to be a sign of the times overall - not just on this forum.

The "article" is a PRESS RELEASE.
Push too hard, somebody might smell spam.
The dot com on the website should have been a dead giveaway.
Well, it didn't take long to see why I haven't been here in so long... Jeezus.

If you read the *article* I posted, you'll see that the author says it's unlike any lotion she's ever used. And if you read the page where you can purchase it, you can see all of the ingredients and read the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I posted INFORMATION to potentially help people get to sleep.

Oooh, a threat? Ask me if IGAF that you might consider my post spam. Go ahead and report it.

First, you said it was an ad; now, it's a press release?

If I've learned nothing else from this presiduncy, it's to check my sources before I share anything. And I do. From Wikipedia (italics mine): "PureWow publishes national content as well as local content for New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, and the Hamptons. The company publishes content across fashion, beauty, homecare topics, technology, entertainment, books and finances.[8] PureWow articles are distributed via its website PureWow com,[9] email, and over social media channels."

Now, kindly go pick pepper outta flyshit somewhere else.
Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia, created and edited by volunteers around the world and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Not really an "Official" source. More like a forum similar to this. Bolding is mine.

+1

Also, the OP is an established forum member. For that reason alone, I wouldn't have considered the post as spam.

Hey, you guys! Nice to see you, too.

Maddie, when I use my lavender oil (also super-strong), I take half of a Q-tip and dip the end into the oil; then I stand the Q-tip up in a small candleholder and put it near the intake. If the smell is still too strong, I just move the candleholder a little further away from the intake. Works for me.

No worries. FYI, it's also available on Amazon, but it's *much* more expensive there, even with free shipping.
