humidifier question

hello i was wondering if I turn off the humidifier on my air sense 10 ASV bi-pap machine will I still get moisture at night when I use the machine i know the humidity will not be warm but it will be cold does it make a difference

Warmer water adds more moisture to the air, but even off, some water vapor is picked up by evaporation of air moving over the water. Jim

It's called 'passover mode' informally because the water is passed over by the air and a little is carried to you.

I started CPAP around the Jewish holiday of Passover, and I kept thinking that this was something special to make sure your therapy stayed "kosher for Passover" (extra dietary laws on Passover).

But yes, my humidifier on my old CPAP died about 3 years in to my 6 years of use, and there was still sufficient humidity to keep me from feeling miserable.
