ahi went up with pressure increase
ahi went up with pressure increase
I was snoring while using my Resmed with face mask. So I upped the pressure from 15 to 15.6. The snoring quit, but my AHI went from 2.2 to 3.8. I brought the pressure down to 15.2. The AHI went down to 2.2, and the snoring is still gone. Coincidence?

Re: ahi went up with pressure increase
What is the make up the ahi in each case? Were obstructive events going up, or centrals, or both?

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
Re: ahi went up with pressure increase
Probably coincidence. It's normal to have a fairly wide range of results even if we don't change anything.johnc wrote:I was snoring while using my Resmed with face mask. I get ranges of 0.40 to 3.00 AHI all the time and not long about I had a 10.2 stuck in between two sub 1.0 AHI nights.
Go figure that one.
And I haven't changed a thing.

yes
random noise
nothing is constant
try watching each setting for 30 days and then compare results
This is a perfect example of "random noise."
