I have a buddy that was just put on cpap with a pressure of 20, which I told him I'm surprised they just didn't give him a bipap, but he was asking me if there was a full face mask made for higher pressures. I really don't think I have heard of one that is supposed to be better for higher pressures, any suggesions for those with experience with that kind of pressure?
The right full face mask for high pressure

At a pressure of 19 I have tried 4 FF masks,
The Comfortfull 2 and the UMFF had to be worn very tight at that pressure so were uncomfortable to me.
The F&P431 was more comfortable than the others and still would be my mask of choice if the Hybrid didn't come out.
I love the Hybrid an would have trouble going back to any of the other masks.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally worn out and screaming,WOO HOO what a ride!

Masks make a big difference at higher pressures.
During my sleep study, they tried 3 different masks before they found one that didn't leak badly. That was a lucky thing for me, because I knew what to get when I got my machine.
One that did not work was the F&P 431.
I had a high pressure of 27/20. The only mask that worked at all for me was the ComfortFull 2. It needed to be tight but I didn't have a big problem with it.
The big difference is that it provides equal pressure of the mask to the face in both the top and bottom at the same time. Other masks didn't seem to do that.
Recently I was moved down to 23/18 and I've been able to lessen the pressure on the mask a bit so its not so tight. I've even experimented with 20/15 with good success as long as I don't sleep on my back (which I don't like to do anyway).
My sleep periods are longer now, with less interruptions due to mask leaks, hose popping off etc... and the pressures appear to be working.
New machine coming.... BiPap Auto from Resprironics... I've been using a used Synchrony ST.
