Sticky Air Hose Swivel

I use a FFM but most of the time where the hose interfaces with the mask at the swivel it doesn't spin or move smoothly. The plastic on plastic just isn't lubricated. I've tried mineral oil. But that was no help. Any other thoughts? I haven't tried anything else (KY, etc).

Also doesn't mater if I've just cleaned it or not.

Maybe silicon grease? I got mine at a pool store.

Why don't you tell us what mask you are using. Have you tried removing the swivel and just cleaning it?

Sorry yes it's the F&P Simplus.

The swivel doesn't come apart. I've tried cleaning it the best I can with soap and then a soak in vinegar/water.

Ky should help as would EVOO, or vegetable oil.

What kind of plastic/rubber is in the swivel?
How old is the mask?
Foreign substances may be impeding motion, and might need cleaning out.
If it is roughened from age, this may be the "engineered replacement event". Sorry.
