question about S9 AutoSet™ CPAP Machine with H5i data

Post by MssDarla » Wed Jul 05, 2017 10:38 am

I bought the S9 AutoSet™ CPAP Machine with H5i™ Heated Humidifier for Her

in info online I read about this machine and nowhere have I found if I can use software with my phone, I see it has a data card on the machine or if I can or can't print it?

does this mean I need to buy a card reader for my laptop? is it a mini card?

How do you guys save your data for the dr? I guess carry the data card to the dr?

I was hoping for a app for my phone for quick info each day for me, Is it possible? if not its ok but just wondering

update ugg I went back and looked at specs and it says I can use ResScan,,, I have a lot to learn

thank you

Darla

Newer computers have SD card slots on them. You will need to download either Sleepyhead or Rescan software to your computer. I prefer Sleepyhead, which is a free software created by a forum member, and use it. You can download Sleepyhead here: https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead
If your machine does not have a slot for the SD card, you can purchase a card reader. I prefer to use a Toshiba FlashAir card in our machines and download the information to my computer using my in-home router.

Why not just print out a few days worth of Sleepyhead graphs for your doctor and explain them to him - see if he has a clue! SH is the most comprehensive report outside of sleep labs that you can use (don't show the calendar or happy faces tho' as they push printed results down below). Your phone is not ideal for Cpap data.

Thx guys, I wondered if it was possible because nothing in specs say anything about bluetooth or wifi
and Julie that's what I will do and my dr doesn't know much about it, She told me that or at least the equipment, I love my dr because at least she is honest but what can she do anyways? change the settings? I can do that myself but she can keep it recorded in my records. being on disability, everything need to be on record

Originally, I printed out Sleepyhead graphs for my pulmonologist.
He totally "geeked out"! It was a beautiful thing to see.
Lately, his nurse prints the data from my card.
