I have been using the Amara for a few weeks and like it. I was using a Quattro fx previously and it was fine but I was getting leaks from time to time which made all sorts of noise the wife did not appreciate. The Amara seems to seal very nicely for me and despite my side sleeping does very well throughout the night.

Some people just do better with the PS (difference between inhale and exhale) being 4 or 5 and even though numerically there's not a lot of difference between 3 and 4...how it feels differently is huge.
Awsome thanks I'll talk to the Dr, and see if I can put some "Pressure" on him...

Which report is saying the typical pressure is 15? Where are you seeing this number?
I am now... last night, it did extend my time an hour or so, but i never really settled back down. Once i'm up i seem to be up.

Why only 4 to 5 hours of sleep? Wake up when the pressure is high and can't go back to sleep? Wake up and take the mask off and go back to sleep?

Do you have any known lung issues that might make it harder to exhale....COPD, Asthma, etc?
I just installed on my Mac, but I don't have a card reader so I can't import from my machine yet, one of today's chores i guess haha
My 4-5 hours of sleep, yep. Just cant seem to drift back off after i'm awoken from the pressure.... cheek blowing was bad last night.
I tried without the mask after awoken and even then maybe for 30 min more but once I'm up i seem to be up. No COPD or Asthma, I do smoke, which I'm working on.... it's all a lot to take on at once. I've made a few attempts to quit and will I'm back at it again!

Thank Flyover guy!, I do side sleep a bit. Usually start off on my back and may roll from time to time.
Good to hear that the Amara is working for you in this way!

Thanks everyone

See this thread for examples of what we would like to see in the your reports.
viewtopic/t103468/Need-help-with-screen-shots.html
We don't need all the graphs that SH gives...just the basics and if we need something else we will ask for it.

How to insert images
https://sleep.tnet.com/reference/tips/imgur

How to organize ...3 pages...be sure to read all 3 pages
https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead/shorganize

Just put the image of the report in this thread for right now until we see if reviewing reports is going to be a long term thing or not.
Might create a new thread later if needed.

Have you tried the Amara View small cushion? My nose falls right between small and medium. I tried a medium cushion and had temperamental leaks every night. Switched to small. It fits and seals around my nose much better. No leak issues at all.

This shows how everyone is so different! I had an Amara View for my first mask and I HATED it! I found it hideously uncomfortable and it has a very rigid piece inside the mask that pushed very hard on both sides of my face right under my nose. I agree with a review on youtube by LankyLefty where he says, "it appears to be made out of some kind of brick material." LOL.

Everyone is so very different in their preferences and so I think almost all of us here have gone through the "Goldilocks Method" of trying masks.
