First Day Here, running a little slow, it's been happening for months and explained dozens of times. They have upgraded their trash, the balls on the sites court, make changes or shut down. Jim

Good luck with that, at 10+ SPAM posts per minute you'll be at it all day and losing ground the whole time. Not how I plan to spend my entire day

Spammer for something..Chinese or Korean or whatever asshole ese language. Totally a waste of time on an English speaking forum but maybe he get a penny for every post.
Near as I can tell he may have made $100 so far. I guess maybe good money in some 3rd world country.

Anyway...it's shit and highly annoying but not a damn thing we can do about it right now.
I remove as many as a can but it's a losing battle at this point.

This is the first time I have wished for some admin powers here...never before have I wanted anything special but I sure would like to fight this guy head on with something more than my measly little ability to spam remove 2 posts a minute when he is posting a lot more.
Most recently...I counted 20 something within a minute by using multiple IDs.

I will remove what I can today as I have time but not much can be done for the bulk until Carolyn gets the message I sent her.

They're not posted by people, they're spambots. They've been testing us out initially and now they are on the move, expect these attacks to ramp up even further.

I also can't believe that nobody posting on this board has any moderation rights. Unless action is taken very quickly, this board will become inoperable.

EDIT: 36 PAGES of spam since I posted less than an hour or so. If this carries on the server will be full by the end of the day.

That's because you don't have a spam button. You don't get a spam button until you have been here for three months, and then it magically appears. You also don't get a spam button if admin determines that things you post are incorrect or plain stupid, thus misleading others. I would pay special attention to my last sentence.
