I just got my perscription for a C-pap. In a way I am flying high !! I didn't realize what I was missing until my split sleep study and I was put on a c-pap machine during the 2nd half of the night. I have not dreamed or slept so deeply since high school ( 29 years ). But I am also concerned - the sleep lab tests came back and I am having a very serious and difficult time sleeping. Now - CIGNA tells me it could be as much as 10 business days until they can get me my equipment. That SUCKS !!

It will be well worth the wait! I had my first study done in April and didn't get my setup until the end of August. So 19 days is not very long at all.

Hang in there. This is one of the most awful times of your life. I went 19 days between the titration study and cpap. I wish those in charge realized the total misery that we live in during this time.

I'm one of the few untreated apnea victims I know of that still dreamed. In fact, I woke up so much at night, I remembered *lots* of my dreams (on average, 8 or 9 a night). I had severe, untreated OSA but I was still dreaming. Bizarre.

I have also always been a very vivid dreamer. That has seemed to stay the same before and after treatment started. I often thought my dreams were part of the reason for the excessive tiredness. I figured that was why I woke with headaches so often.
