Air flow from vent

Post by Maureen913 » Tue Sep 26, 2006 1:39 pm

I was wondering about the vent with the nasal pillow mask. It seems like the constant force of air out of the vent is as strong as what's coming out of the nasal pillows. Is it supposed to be this way and if so, why? I don't have the ramp on my machine.

I see you have a breeze. All these masks usually have those vents & they are structured to allow the co2 to be cleared from the mask to prevent excessive co2 rebreathing.

They do blow air strongly & the higher your cms setting the noiser they are.

Good luck

Thanks, that helps. Everyone talks about leaks and I was wondering if I was leaking all that air.
