I was thinking the same, but there is an optional additional accessory called the "airmini mount system" which actually looks quite good.
Allows you to have it hang off the side of the bed, off the side or a drawer, or affixed to the wall (and presumably tabletop too).

Oh for chrissake! By their own admission, this is a TRAVEL machine! They propose that I take a bunch of extra crap on the road to MOUNT it to something for the night? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I guess I'll be buying some press-on rubber feet.....

My travel bag provided with the Airsense 10 was REALLY easy to carry on my trip for Mothers Day this weekend.

I agree.
Apparent,y the airmini is a trvel system, but not a portable system. I notice this warning on the AirMini mount page.
"The mount system is not intended to be worn."

As I said earlier-- wait for the knock-off.
Edit: considering the anticipated prices, the only people who will be able to afford this,
DO NOT CARRY THEIR OWN LUGGAGE!
Think about it.

The Z1 has been around for a while, which makes the Resmed Mini the knockoff.
The reviews for the Transcend are better, though--and they have an auto!

Welcome, someone the lives in the real world. I feel sorry for all those people dragged off their plane that can't reach their XPAP Machine bag in the overhead....
If I wasn't able to travel because of a XPAP bag, I'd stay out of flying cattle cars and stay at home where my stuff was. Jim

Flying cattle cars--what a totally identifiable analogy!

Good question!
My Airsense came with the smaller bag, so I have room for my P10 if I stuff it into the humidifier "garage".
Since all our traveling has been in the car, we take everything we want!
Especially since it discourages hitchhikers.

The connector IS nonstandard, though in the age of 3D printing, I'm sure someone will come out with an adapter to use normal hoses.

So the mask won't be the standard P10 with its standard connector? I thought I had read somewhere that the ResMed P10 was compatible.

http://www.resmed.com website has all the info.
The compatible masks are
Airfit F20
Airfit N20
Airfit P10 For AirMini. (a new mask meant to attach the humidification unit near your face, not the Airfit p10 that is already out)
