Hi all,
I've been using a CPAP machine since 2011 and absolutely cannot imagine sleeping without it! I use a Resmed S9 Autoset with Heated Humidifier. As a mask, I wear the Swift FX for her with nasal pillows.
I had an appointment with my sleep apnea dr. this morning and we're going to get a new machine since mine is 6+ years old. I know that alot has changed in the apnea world since the Resmed S9. What's a recommendation of a good machine with data capabilities? I see the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. Is that the latest and greatest?
Thanks for the help!
New CPAP machine recommendation
Re: New CPAP machine recommendation
The AirSense 10 AutoSet is the latest and greatest in the ResMed product line.
Respironics makes a similar machine but it does have a different algorithm that it uses. They both do the same job but go about doing the job differently.
I actually suggest that you stick with the ResMed. ResMed's algorithm is a bit different from Respironics and we know that ResMed works well for you and no real urgent need to change.
You can't go wrong with another ResMed.
