Marks on face in morning
Is this just something I'm going to have to get used to? It has happened with both masks I've tried (I prefer the Dreamwear, but have another I cannot recall the name of that is a full over-the-nose style with headgear) and it's just annoying. I have a commute to work so during the week it's not like anyone sees me like that, but weekends it's a different story.
Re: Marks on face in morning
Are the unwanted marks from the mask itself or the straps?

With the Dreamwear, it's where the silicone tubes go over my cheeks, just below the cheekbone. The other is a Resmed Mirage FX for Her, and it's straps (also over my cheeks) leave marks.Pugsy wrote:Are the unwanted marks from the mask itself or the straps?

I'd check out padacheek.com and see what strap covers, etc. are there for your mask. If there's nothing there now, I've heard that the owner of the site, Karen, is willing to work with customers to design and make appropriate padding that will prevent strap marks.
Good luck!!!

The DreamWear had some strap covers included in the package to help with the marks. Did you not try them or were they not included in your package? I used those strap pads with my DreamWear and they helped a lot with the marks on my cheeks.
For the Mirage FX for Her...
Contact Karen at Padacheek and see if the Original
http://www.padacheek.com/PAC_Original.html
Will fit your cheek straps. I think it might work. Karen will know.
Alternately it wouldn't be hard to take a bit of fleece and make your own straps. Doesn't have to be fancy. You can look at the ones Karen makes and get an idea...and tiny strips of flecro can be glue on to make it easy to open on close.
