Okay

Post by Thefrogshateme » Thu Mar 30, 2017 10:01 pm

Let me tell a little about myself because I don't know if everyone can view that information. I'm 28, 270 pounds, first diagnosed when I was 21 through at home study. Then a sleep lab study at the age of 26. I was presented with a Sleep Mapper res med cpap. Pressure 15.

I have been hospital to hospital, doctor, to doctor trying to figure out what is going on with me. I wear my mask every night but maybe sleep every other day or every two days and when I sleep it's just for like for hours. I've looked up everything. The only thing it sounds like is onset central apnea. It will not allow me to go to sleep. As I fall asleep with the machine I jolt up hyperventilating, with out the machine I jolt up gasping. It happens over and over and over and over and over again every time I doze off. The doctors said "It's stress, just drink something " it doesn't work. Then the doctor gave me vistaril saying "sleeping is the easy part" and it still happens over and over again. I have tried alcohol, anxiety meds, tounge gaurds, nasal spraws, decongestants, sleep elevated, breath right strips, gargling hot salty water. Nothing eases my symptoms. I was diagnosed with OSA and my ahi is always in the 2.0 so it has to be central if I'm having so many events. I feel like I'm dying and I have no insurance anymore. Just got a job that offers insurance again and I'm scared I won't be able to function this tired.

Let's correct some misinformation to avoid confusion.

First of all there is no such thing as a

What you are using (at least per an old post where you posted a SleepHead report) is the PR System One 60 Series Auto CPAP set to cpap mode at 15 cm pressure.

The only report you ever posted was that one above and it was too brief to really evaluate.

If you are having a truck load of sleep onset central apneas they should show up on the software detailed report....so please post another SleepyHead detailed report.

Please post the graphs from a typical night or two. I realize they may be short, but whatever you have is better than nothing.

Hopefully, there will be something obvious in the graphs that will tell us what is going on and help us figure out what might improve your ability to sleep.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

I'm trying to figure a way to get the results. I have the sleepy head on my computer without internet. I'm using the internet through my phone. If I can come up with a way I will and thank y'all for the quick replies.

For now we have to make do with the AHI and event category breakdown and the hours of sleep for that AHI.

well done, you're really close,
arrange your sleepyhead page like this: https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead/shorganize

then post it like this on imgur: https://sleep.tnet.com/reference/tips/imgur

you're most of the way there.
