It's normal for the IPAP in auto mode to do the up and down all night. The bulk of those spikes is simply the machine checking things out with the test pressure probes.
So it's nothing to worry about and if you sleep soundly through it all then don't pay them any mind.
It's just the machine doing what it was designed to do.

The quick up and down's on the pressure line are when everything seems to be clear in the airway, but the machine is "just checking" by sending short 2cm pressure probes.
