Hi ,just wondering if the Resmed auto 10 records PB and CSR in sleepyhead,i havent seen any of these graphs and was just curious if the only appear when you have the events. There are no PB or CSR colums on my graphs.

Sleepyhead PB and CSR
Re: Sleepyhead PB and CSR
If your machine said you had some CSR/PB then SleepyHead would show it.
The fact that you haven't seen any means your machine hasn't recorded it.
It's a breathing pattern with some specific criteria which can often include centrals but it doesn't necessarily have to include centrals or any specific events for that matter.
Here's an old one of mind. It's PB but not CSR.

Re: Sleepyhead PB and CSR
Thanks for the reply Pugsy, I was not sure if i had to change anything in the sleepyhead preferences.
All good Cheers.

Re: Sleepyhead PB and CSR
SleepyHead only reports what the machine reports. SH doesn't do the actual determining of whether or not the breathing pattern qualifies for a PB or CSR flag.
I have yet to see very much CSR flagged by the AirSense models. So haven't had a chance to see if those machines tend to flag regular PB (like mine shown above) or if the CSR breathing that does get flagged leans toward classic CSR.
Respironics PR System One machine would often flag PB like mine and it was in no way classic CSR.
It remains to be seen how the new DreamStation models address CSR now that they are calling it CSR instead of PB.
But people can rest assured if their machine was flagging it then SH would indeed reflect it and if they don't see any flags then it simply wasn't reported by the machine.

Re: Sleepyhead PB and CSR
It is interesting that on my Respironics 760 there is a CSR event category even with nothing reported but on my AirCurve 10 VAuto that event category disappears. I know it must be how the different programs work. I just thought it was interesting that one has blank categories to be filled in and the other must create categories in response to events?

The 760 didn't record as CSR. It recorded it as PB. Remember that CSR is just one of many forms of PB.OkyDoky wrote:It is interesting that on my Respironics 760 there is a CSR event category even with nothing reported but on my AirCurve 10 VAuto that event category disappears. SleepyHead's designer decided to label the PB as CSR by default in prior SH versions. Just recently we are given the option to label it whatever we want. Unfortunately this scared some people needlessly.
Now as to why there is a category with nothing in it vs no category....I suspect it is the way the machine does the data recording. One brand has a category in the data files even without any flags and the other brand only has a category if there is flag.
