Swift FX Nano headgear strap covers my eye when side sleep
I'm very frustrated -- my Swift FX Nano is very comfortable when I am sleeping on my back but as soon as I roll to my side, the strap moves up over my eye, waking me up. When this happens, it also breaks the seal around the mask. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to keep the strap, and mask, in place. Thanks!

I had the same problem with the Nano, so I sent it back.

I tried the Nano and in general felt like the straps were too close to my eyes. I wasn't able to use it. The dreamwearer has worked well.

I totally agree that the straps are much too close to the eyes. I didn't have that problem with the original Swift FX, but couldn't tolerate the pain and pressure inside my nostrils, so I switched. I guess the fact that the mask covers your entire nose makes the different strap placement necessary.ThisGuy wrote:I tried the Nano and in general felt like the straps were too close to my eyes. Are you happy with the DreamWear Nasal CPAP Mask? Do the hollow tubes along the face work well and are they comfortable? Thanks for your input!!

I have the same situation. I bought http://www.padacheek.com mask pads that go over those side straps. They still raise up, but with the flannel "sleeves" over the side straps, at least it feels more like the covers on my face, instead of plastic rubbing on my cheeks.. I just eventually got used to it riding up.
Swift Fx micro fleece strap pad is what I have. They help.

Two things might be worth trying:
1) if you have long enough hair you could put it in a pony tail to kind of hold the back strap down. Put the mask on first and then pull the hair through the straps in the back and make a tight pony tail just above the back strap.
2). Sew some Velcro (the scratchy hook side) to the inside of your back strap to have it catch on your hair and keep the mask from slipping up.
I love the dreamwear but have the same problem with the back strap slipping. Some Velcro should help, I haven't gotten around to it yet, though.

I agree with the hair solution. I have short hair, but I put on the headgear, and use my fingers to pull up the hair above the lower head strap. Seems to work better than not doing it. Even the short hair holds the strap in place and keeps it from sliding up.
