Wow, so Interesting! I have been using my cap for about a year now, it has worked great as far as I'm not tired all day anymore but I do believe it causes other issues! I do clean my machine parts as directed and I have been having an ongoing problem with ear infections in my right ear!! Prior to that starting I had a staff infection in my left Nostril! Recently, eye infections that are similar to pink eye! I have an appointment to see my ENT. I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF WHAT TO LOOK FOR ONCE I STARTED THE CPAP THERAPY, BUT JUST HAD TO LEARN ABOUT ALL THIS AS IT APPROACHED ME, I AM VERY CONCERNED!!!!!!

FWIW, my ENT has me using pharmaceutical grade vinegar. Even using it only 3 times a week, the number of problems went down. But yes, do see the ENT as it isn't always infection. Sometimes it's lymph nodes that are gumming up. Once you've had a couple infections within a year or two, it's time to move on from the general physician to the ENT specialist.
