RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorization) are a standard method of doing business......and especially with certain kinds of merchandise........like medical equipment or with serial numbers and higher priced items.bay123 wrote:I either don't understand why cpap.com wanted to issue a RMA ticket to me. Possibly they want to shut up my complaint.OkyDoky wrote:Other places do warranty work, but you haven't even used the machine so how do you know it needs warranty work. A missing SD card is easy to correct and stickiness from tape can be removed. You said it has 0 run hours. If you still want to spend your money, I'm sure acbio.com could tell you it is in good working order.
Should I spend more money and clean the machine myself after I already spend lots of money buying a "brand new" reputable resmed cpap machine from a reputable cpap.com.
I live in a big city, it is much easy for me to shop around different authorized dealers.Wulfman wrote: ........
Their service department don't care my car bought from other dealer as long as me or car maker will pay the work.
It's not that hard to understand and virtually all DMEs have to do this with returns, and especially if they need to go back to the manufacturer.
I didn't say there were no other GM dealerships in this area.......there have actually been a fair number of them. I was pointing out that this particular one wouldn't even talk to you if you lived locally and took your vehicle to them if it needed some mechanical attention. Living in big cities is something I HAVE done and never want to experience again. Too many rude and nasty people.
