New here, love my CPAP

nice to hear that its working for you !!
funny thing most of don't see the changes before getting the machine.
i was like NyNurse33 grumpy, tired body hurting (treated for anxiety) thing is you think thats normal till you get hooked up. and wow its like night and day !!

Oh yeah. That one night of CPAP from my sleep study was a revelation to me. The month and a half in between then and finally coming home with my own was awful. When I thought the shortness of breath I had been experiencing was normal, it didn't bother me as much. Once I knew how hard it was to breathe, I was pretty much useless because I knew the difference and I didn't like it.

On the immediate reaction to the machine, well, the techs did say I was a good candidate for CPAP. My body aches haven't gone away yet, but some of those are due to muscles shortening because I was too tired to use them much.
