CL2 pillows

Post by bellcrerst » Sat Oct 15, 2016 7:05 am

I haven't been here in a very long time. I have been using CPAP for 10 years now and for the most part no issues. It took me a very long time to find a suitable mask. Once I did, I stayed with it. I use the Comfort Lite 2. Problem is that the replacement pillows are no longer available. Does anyone here have any suggestions as to where to find them or which mask most is the closest to the CL2? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Only the Petite is available. If you try to select one of the other sizes it tells you "no longer available".
They haven't had any size but Petite in a long time.

Sometimes I have seen them on EBay but not consistently and only in limited sizes.
I don't know of any mask similar to the ComfortLite 2. Pretty much all the others have done away with the bulky headgear.

You might take a stroll through the various nasal pillow masks that cpap.com now offers and see if anything looks interesting to you.

The first place I looked was cpap.com.....have always bought supplies there. Sadly they only have the one size available and not the size I need.
I have looked at other masks but find it depressing as when I first started I went through so many different ones trying to find what worked. Spent way too much money buying masks. I am now retired on a limited income so have to be more cautious.
I did use the Breeze in the past and see it is still available so may go back to it because I know it works.
Why do companies stop making things that work!! I live in Canada, cpap supplies are so expensive here.

Where do you live?
As long as it's the lower 48, consider cpap.com's return insurance.
A number of masks have free return insurance;
and you can apply the refund toward the next mask.
It took me awhile to get through all the losers before I found my perfect fit,

If you can deal with the cushions rather than pillows, one seller on eBay is offering a set of 4 for $20 in all sizes with free shipping - the only pillow offered is petite.

If you find something on EBay that will work let me know at a really good price but they won't ship to Canada.
There are ways of getting around that easily enough.
Just have to check dollar conversion and shipping costs to Canada and for cushions or nasal pillows the cost won't we too bad at all.

Thank you Pugsy. I have tried the cushion, not for me. I need the pillows. Or I need to find a mask that will work for me. Looking around the cpap.com site, there looks like lots of options but everyone is different....will probably have to try a few before I find another that works as well as the CL2 for me....wonder why they stopped making them.

They stopped making that mask because sales were down and they introduced newer products and just couldn't justify the expense of keeping that mask in production. While it worked well for you......they just didn't have enough other people buying it to justify the expense of keeping it in production.
