I just got back from a 2 week vacation when I was using my backup cpap at the beginning of this week, and there's a 14-day empty space in the Sleepyhead Overview, as there should be. However, the compliance for the last 30 days that Sleepyhead displays is 100%? Interesting, but that doesn't seem accurate or useful.
I wonder how it gets that 100% figure? The algorithm (or my thinking) seems flawed, somehow *smile*.
Sleepyhead compliance computations?
Re: Sleepyhead compliance computations?
Happened again. I had a cold week before last, no data for 5 days. Yet SleepyHead says I was 100% compliant for the last 30 days. Not sure what's going on here, but seems to be a bit off on figuring compliance.
Not helpful if you're looking for a accurate compliance data. Like before a yearly sleep doctor appointment *smile*.

Re: Sleepyhead compliance computations?
Sounds like a SH bug.
Mark probably knows about it, but is busy with other things.
If your insurance is requiring compliance, it is doubtful they will accept SH data.

Re: Sleepyhead compliance computations?
Have you installed ResScan and compared the results? This would show how the two programs report compliance. If ResScan reports the out of compliance as you do, that would clearly indicate the error in SH. If the two programs agree on compliance, that would point to an error in the logic of the database.

Re: Sleepyhead compliance computations?
If the machine wasn't on, Sleepyhead doesn't count it. It's not a bug. If you only used the machine 15 days and 100% complied each of those days, then you are 100% compliant.

Re: Sleepyhead compliance computations?
Are you really looking at the Usage graph in Overview and not the Statistics tab? You can zoom in and out on it, and can left drag to select. Try this: select the exact period for which you want a compliance reading. The usage graph's legend will display the number of days of no usage, low usage, and compliant usage, along with % compliance - ie. it will account for "empty" days.
