Do you have the results of his sleep study? If not, please get a copy from the doctor. It will be helpful for the people here to look at before making recommendations. It doesn't matter how old it is, it still provides valuable information.

Usually, a sleep study is only necessary for the initial diagnosis or unless the insurance company is just trying to get out of providing the equipment.

The fact that he was given a top-of-the-line machine earlier and didn't use it works against him. He could have gotten the help he needed here. Excessive dry mouth usually indicates that someone is mouth breathing and there are solutions for that.

Well, that's what I thought but dr was trying to get some kind of study I guess. None of it makes sense to me.

That was my thought as well. Sleep for was trying anything I guess.

The hospital has just snapped that my son has sleep apnea. They are getting records from his sleep dr. Maybe they can do something.
