New Sleep Channel On Disqus

Post by Fubblin » Sat Sep 17, 2016 11:06 am

For anyone that uses Disqus.com, I have started a sleep channel called Nap Time. It will cover all things sleep related and that of course includes sleep apnea.

I am hoping this channel will grow and become a valuable resource to the community just as this forum has become for me. If you are interested feel free to join in or create your own discussions.

For those who don't know what Disqus is here is the overview from their website.

"Disqus is a networked community platform used by hundreds of thousands of sites all over the web. With Disqus, your website gains a feature-rich comment system complete with social network integration, advanced administration and moderation options, and other extensive community functions. Most importantly, by utilizing Disqus, you are instantly plugging into our web-wide community network, connecting millions of global users to your small blog or large media hub."

Hi, I think your idea is great, but not being a social media butterfly, might be missing something... I went there and while it says that listed sites have lots of info on sleep (and apnea) I couldn't find one link! It also said that ... someone with a long strange name started a discussion 17 mins ago, there was nothing there either... am I missing something?

Did you click on the headline? Its in bold. The main channel lists only the headline and 3 rows of text, you have to click on the bold text to expand it to the full discussion.

Well, I'm used to underlined links, and not necessarily clicking on headings... plus there is apparently only one 'follower' on board now.

You know, you haven't even (apparently) listed this site as one with lots of info... or did I again miss some obscure way of finding it?

I mentioned this website but forgot to include the link in the discussion, I fixed it. I also just started the channel a few hours ago so it will take some time to grow.
