As a retiree, I'm able to take naps pretty much whenever I want to so it's not unusual for me to lie down for an hour or so during the afternoon. I always use my cpap during those times. I've noticed that my AHI is always quite a bit higher during those naps than during my night time sleeping. This is true whether I use my recliner or stretch out on the bed.
Has anyone else had this experience? Any thoughts as to what may be the likely cause?
