Why I am still tired?
So I posted a topic yesterday about me wearing my mouthguard and using a lot of my water chamber most days, but here are some graphs, if anyone could help figure out why I am still tired all the time it would help me so much. Thanks for all the help guys.

So...it would be really helpful to know what machine these graphs came from.
When you have time please add your equipment to your profile like I have mine so that we don't have to ask.
Leak reporting is different for different machines.
Do you take any meds of any kind? If so, what?
Do you wake up often during the night? If so about how many times and any idea why?
Any other health issues going on?
The water usage...what is your humidity setting?
Water consumption will vary but generally it depends on the ambient humidity in your bedroom and the humidity setting.
If you live in an arid area it's not unusual to use most of the water in one night. That in itself doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. I have to add water each night because I almost always will use the bulk of the water unless it is raining outside and the windows are open so that the ambient bedroom humidity is higher so the machine doesn't have to put out as much moisture.

Re: Why I am still tired?
Judging by your nightly use (hours), your sleep could be fragmented. And you machine appears to be set up at 10cm, yet the numbers aren't that good (though acceptable). Still, lot of information is missing, as Pugsy pointed out.quicksilver8907 wrote:So I posted a topic yesterday about me wearing my mouthguard and using a lot of my water chamber most days, but here are some graphs, if anyone could help figure out why I am still tired all the time it would help me so much. Alright so I updated my equipment. I do take Fluoxetine for Anxiety and Valsartan for high blood pressure. I can't check what my humidity is set to at the moment, when I travel I leave the humidifier behind, its just easier.

lose the mask pressure graph, and the respiration rate graph, unscrunch the others to fill the space.quicksilver8907 wrote:Here is another screenshot, let me know if you guys could use any other information.

nice, I'd put the machine in auto mode with a min pressure of 10 and max of 15, if it were mine.quicksilver8907 wrote:http://imgur.com/a/3xNgO

Re: Why I am still tired?
Minor detail to fix when you have time.
In your equipment profile you have the wrong machine chosen.
I see AirSense 10 CPAP right now...it should be AirSense 10 AutoSet
and the answers to these questions please??

Re: Why I am still tired?
I believe the OP mentioned Fluoxetine for anxiety and Valsartan for high blood pressure. And on the other thread he started, teeth-grinding.

Very helpful Rick. Two links to look at:rick blaine wrote:I believe the OP mentioned Fluoxetine for anxiety and Valsartan for high blood pressure. And on the other thread he started, teeth-grinding.
https://www.drugs.com/sfx/fluoxetine-side-effects.html
https://www.drugs.com/sfx/valsartan-side-effects.html
As an FYI, lack of energy is listed as a fluoxetine side effect. For valsartan, unusual tiredness and weakness are listed.
Something to talk to your doctor(s) about?

Re: Why I am still tired?
If that's correct then the Fluoxetine could possibly be part of the issue.rick blaine wrote:I believe the OP mentioned Fluoxetine for anxiety and Valsartan for high blood pressure. And on the other thread he started, teeth-grinding.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluoxetine
SSRIs are notorious for not only causing fatigue and a host of other unwanted side effects. They are known to mess with sleep architecture too which affects sleep quality and thus how we feel during the day.
Valsartan has been known to cause fatigue though less commonly.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valsartan
I don't see anything on the cpap software reports screaming out "fix me and you won't be so tired"...so that's when I start looking elsewhere for potential culprits that might be causing unwanted daytime symptoms.
It goes back to the same old story. CPAP can't fix problems unrelated to sleep apnea no matter how much we want to blame sleep apnea for all our unwanted symptoms. Now I am not saying that the meds are 100% of the problem but I am betting they play a significant part.
Edit: I went back to the other thread and I saw no mention of meds in this one
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=113512&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
Perhaps I missed it because of the hijacking that went on ?????
Or maybe it was mentioned elsewhere that I can't find because OP wasn't registered so I can't search all his past posts.
But I will leave the above meds information in place for now...and if OP says this is incorrect I can remove it later.
I still need to know if there are a lot of wake ups going on during the night.
