StrapFace :(

Post by Snoozeless » Mon Sep 05, 2016 12:59 am

Note to self not to let my face get sunburned. The Dreamware and sunburn do not mix. I have been walking around with these chaffed strap marks on my face all day. Sigh.

If you wash the are area with hot water (as hot as you can stand), it will help remove the red marks. Also, put lotion on it. Tell folks you fell asleep on a hot BBQ grill.

Covering the straps with soft fleece where they touch your face works nicely.
If you're not into DIY, Karen at PadaCheek sells strap covers, mask liners, and other comfort liners.
Just Google PadaCheek.

Sunburn makes the skin even more "puffy" so more chance of fluid retention/disbursement strap marks dents in the skin.

Are you using the side strap covers that come with the DreamWear? If not, give them a try as they will help until the sunburn heals up.

If already using the side strap covers....not much you can do until the sunburn heals. Which it will in a few days and time will help.
