Does anyone know of a good DME in Eugene, OR? If so, what brand of machines do they carry?

Also, cpap.com carries just about everything! Check out their site, and you'll find it most useful. There are full descriptions, pictures, of each piece of equipment, in addition to user reports, evaluations, and newly-implemented customer folow-up.
I had a local B&M DME that NEVER called me, and more recently one that calls weekly to see if I need any SUPPLIES (not how I'm doing).
Do a search on dme on this forum, and you'll get a good idea of our collective experiences with 'local' dme's. Some are terrific, and many are horror-ific. One constant is cpap.com - always good results and reviews.
All of this depends, of course, on your NEED for a local supplier to assist you.
Good luck.

I use a place called PneuMed here in Eugene. Can't say much for pricing. I'd use Cpap.com if it was out of pocket. But, they let me demo anything they have. Everything is delivered to my door too.

Questions like this is difficult to answer.
There is unlikely enough people on this forum with direct experience in that area.
The next problem is that most dme have many different people and one could be helpful and the next a jerk.

Next is that any single person may be percieved differently by different clients.
Then there is the problem that a person may have great rapport with a client but be very ignorant in the products and leave you feeling good but offer no expertise..

DME are like a box of chocolates............

Jackester: I'm having trouble knowing what you meant:
Was it PneuMed or Cpap.com that let you demo anything that they had?
I can only "assume" that it was PneuMed. Please clarify for me, please.
Thanks!

Don't know about Eugene, but it might be worth the drive to Medford. There is a new CPAP only store that has opened here with prices close to CPAP.COM. They are called CPAP Unlimited, if you would like the phone number, just PM me. I still deal only with CPAP.COM, but in an emergency, I could buy a mask or a hose from the local.

HI,

I don't know how much help I will be, but this is what I am doing. I am very low income, so I got my C-PAP system for free from Care Medical on 13th & Charnelton. They brought the equipment to my home, trained me, gave me a new replacement nasal after a month of using the C-PAP without much luck. Now I am happily sleeping with it.

I do not know who you will be contacting for your equipment, but you might ask them if they have any good quality used equipment to sell at a reduced price. Hope this helps.
