New machine setup

Post by LARS929 » Mon Aug 29, 2016 10:14 pm

I recently bought a 'new' machine to transition my old one as a backup. Both are s9 auto sets. I am unsure how to transfer the settings from my old machine to my new one. When I move the SD card to the new machine, it says it needs to erase the data. Do I do this? Any tips would be great. I do have 2 sd cards.

Do you use Sleepyhead? If so, there is no need to bring your SD card from your old machine to the new one. Sleepyhead keeps all the data.

you have to either use resscan to write machine settings on the card, or just enter them manually.

get a manual from the link at the top of the apneaboard.com site.

Thanks for the replies - I don't use Sleepyhead.

I don't have resscan installed on my computer anymore - I used to though. Is there a link to DL it anywhere?

link's posted on apneaboard. sleepyhead is a lot easier to use, but won't write your rx changes to the card.

Ok - perfect; the two in combo helped me figure it out. Just needed sleepyhead to figure out the numbers and the manual for how to change things. Thanks!
