Water Chamber top lid keeps water on it

Post by dragon672 » Tue Aug 23, 2016 8:04 pm

Greetings all it has been awhile since I have posted on here the last time was grinding teeth issues but that isn't my issue today.

I have a question about everyone's water chambers on your machines. My machine and my mother's CPAP machine are the same. I have my humdifer set on 3 and I have water droplet that stay on the top of the water chamber. I don't know if it is hotter in my room than my mother's or what the issue is. Her machine is also set on 3. Any suggestions?

Soooo what is the question ?
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

It's important to know if you're using a heated hose, if your local humidity now is high or not, if you have A/c in the room, etc. etc. Some info would help us to help you (if there is actually a problem).

Water droplets on the top of the water chamber are normal and nothing to worry about. The amount will vary depending on settings, room temperature, humidity, etc. Whether you see them in the chamber or not doesn't matter - only that you are getting as much humidity as you want in your mask.

It's not a heated hose. My house has central air. It's always like that no matter what the humdity is outside. It's just weird that mine always has them present even 12 hours later and my mother whose room is probably 25 feet away doesn't do that.

I often see condensation on the INSIDE top of the water chamber.
I tip the tank around, and the droplets are gone.

Is it on the outside of the tank? Possible leak.
If it is on the inside---nothing unusual.

Sleep on the floor in your mother's room. The laws of physics are hard to rewrite. Jim
