Mouth guard/oral device while camping ??

I'm going camping for only one night. I don't have a portable battery and am curious if anyone has bad positive experiences with mouth guards. Is there a type you'd recommend? Thanks

mouth guards are great when someone punches you in the face for keeping the camp up cuz of your snoring.

Camping is an option for people whose health is not an issue.
If you cannot get a power supply, you are wise to just sleep indoors.
Accept the fact that you should not do this one thing.
Embrace everything you CAN do.

A better solution, particularly if you plan on doing alot of camping in the future, is to look at cpap machines that can be operated by a battery. Sorry, I don't have a particular one in mind but I suggest doing a google search to see what you can find.

If you were thinking of having a dental appliance made for sleep apnea, that can cost up to 4000. The only possible way to get insurance to pay for it is to say you are cpap intolerant which obviously, you don't want to do if it is working well for you.

Regular mouth guards would be a waste of money in my opinion.

I have a Silent Nite snore device and I wore it for several years before I finally took a sleep test. It helped with the snoring, but it did not treat the OSA at all. They had me take the sleep test WITH the device and my AHI was 26 or so. I now use a CPAP and have happily put the Silent Nite away in a drawer. I don't ever plan to be without the CPAP, even when we go camping. Too risky!
