CPAP Equipment

Post by Reddwarf » Sun Jul 10, 2016 1:44 pm

Its been a long time since I have been active on this board. I'm still using my cpap ever night and anytime I nap. Can't sleep without it. Anyway, the reason for this post is my wife runs an estate sale business and she often has cpap machines. No one shopping the estate sale every buys one. Is there a place on this board to post equipment for sale?

Thank you.

Posting a couple of machines hasn't been a problem in the past, but if you have a bunch, not sure that's the best idea given this board is supported by Cpap.com. If you do post some machines, be sure to include ALL the details include exact model numbers and run hours.

one technique that works is to take the machines, clean 'em up, and post 'em on craigslist, (with accurate descriptions about exact model, usage hours, condition, etc.) and if someone here is looking for a machine, mention something you have listed... and the occasional mention that you have things available is ok.

low key is the best approach.

They were probably only used two or three hours at the most. That's why there is an estate sale.

Put up a list here and see what happens. You/she may get some takers.

Hi all, update here. Came across an odd CPAP machine. Not sure anyone would want this! RESMED RSMaster Plus Domestic Model 2110696. Appears to be a machine used at a sleep clinic. Has a carry case, an old mask and hose. The mask is Respronics but I don't see a model or size. Looks worn out.

Happy to mail this unit for cost of postage.Image

Doubt if you'll get anything for it beyond postage, if that, and the Escape doesn't do data, but maybe someone in your area could use it as a back up, or donation if e.g. awaiting machine in future... no run hrs listed?

No, it's not a ResMed machine. It also would never have been used in a sleep clinic. (might have come from DME stock though)

It's a Respironics REMstar Plus Model 1005960. The old 3-button basic model which doesn't collect any data and didn't have C-Flex. It's just a basic blower. And, the cost of shipping would be about what it's worth. However, it would be a fine, basic machine for someone looking for a backup, spare or camping machine.
Lots of links on the forum pages from this search.

If you don't have a power cord, I guess you can't tell us how many blower or user hours it has on it.

I found the power cord! No idea how to tell you the number of hours. If anyone wants to pay postage I'll send it. otherwise, we will drop it off at a charity donation center.

Most Charity centers will not take medical equipment...I know that Goodwill and St Vincent DePaul will not.

Plug it in and watch the LCD screen.
There should be several sets of numbers that appear.
The first should be in the form of N.N (firmware number)
The next should be the "Blower hours" NNNNN.N
The last (which stays on the screen until it is turned on) is the "User hours".....in the same format NNNNN.N
