Amara View-Nose slippage

Post by grillhead » Fri Aug 19, 2016 9:30 am

Hi all, I recently got an Amara View mask. It went great at first, but now I am having a problem with my nose slipping into the hole during the night, which makes the back piece cover my nostrils and I have trouble breathing. Does anyone have any pointers on how to make this stop? I thought about cutting that piece off but I'm not sure if it would still seal well. Thanks!

I really WANTED the Amara to fit; but my nose dropped directly through the nose opening (small).
So I had to pass on this mask until they make an extra small.
I would definitely try it again if they make one in MY size.
Not holding my breath.

I love the mask. It seems like now that I've worn it, and it's stretching out and getting facial oil on it, it slips much worse.

Maybe a tiny bit of Lansinoh could be appled where silicone meets skin--sticky stuff--worth a shot.

Have you tried adjusting the strap that goes over the top of your head? As adjusted by the DME that fitted the mask, mine started out too tight and pulled the mask up.

Yes I have, but I'm going to keep messing with it too and see if it makes a difference.
